Pane imwe nguva, mhuri yaJudha yakanga yakombwa nevavengi. Mambo Jehoshafati akabva aita chimwe chinhu. Chinhu ichi chinoshamisa zvikuru. Tinochiverenga muna 2 Makoronike 20. Mavuto aJudha akanga ari mashoma. Aidarikwa neevavengi ava. Saka vaJudha vakanga vasingagoni kurwisa vavengi ava. Izvi ndizvo zvakataurwa namambo Jehoshafati. Asi akatsvaka batsiro kuna Jehovha. Akanamata achiti, "Haiwa, Mwari wedu, hamungavatongi here? Nokuti hatine simba rokurwa navazhinji ava vanouya kuzorwa nesu; hatizivi chatingaita, asi meso edu akatarira kwamuri". Tinoverenga mashoko aya muna 2 Makoronike 20:12.

Zvinonzi, "Mweya waJehovha ukauya pamusoro paJahazieri, mwanakomana waZekariya ... akati: ... zvanzi naJehovha kwamuri: Musatya, kana kuvhunduka nokuda kwavanhu ava vazhinji, nokuti kurwa hakuzi kwenyu, asi ndokwaMwari. Jehovha ndivo vakataura mashoko aya. Vakaataura kuna Jehoshafati. Mashoko ainyaradza zvikuru. Asi chitarisa zvakazoitwa naJehoshafati. Akazviita achigadzirira kurwisa mauto aya. Akatora vaimbi. Vaifanira kuimbira Jehovha. Vaifanira kurumbidza runako rwaMwari. Vaifanira kurumbidza hutsvene hwaMwari. Vaifanira kuimba vachiti, "Rumbidzai Jehovha, nokuti nyasha dzake hadziperi". Tinoverenga mashoko aya muna 2 Makoronike 20:21. Mashoko erwiyo rwevanhu vakunda.

Vaimbi ava vakaimba. Vakafamba vachienda kumusasa wevavengi. Bhaibheri rinobva rati, "Jehovha akaisa vavandiri kuzorwa navana vaAmoni, navaMoabhu, navapagomo reSeiri, ivo vakanga vauya kuzorwa navaJudha; vakakundwa". Izvi ndizvo zvatinoverenga muna 2 Makoronike 20:22. Vaimbi ndivo vakanga vari mberi. Varwi vakanga vari kumashure. Vakazosvika pamusasa wevarwi vaya. Vakawana vose vazviuraya. Jehoshafati akauya nehondo yake. Vakangosvika vachitora fuma yevavengi ava. Havana kufanira kutanga vavarwisa! Kukunda kwakadai kunoshamisa. Asi kune zvakunotidzidzisa.

Kuda tingasangana nezvinhu zvakawoma. Tinofanira kuimba. Tinofanira kuimba nziyo dzekunamata Mwari. Tinofanira kuimba dziyo dzekurumbidza Mwari. Nziyo idzi dzinozokunda muvengi. Saka zvinhu zvinogona hazvo kunge zvakawoma. Unogona kunge uri kusangana nezvinhu zvinotsvaka kukukanganisa. Rumbidza Mwari. Mira paShoko ravo. Vanamate. Shoko iri ndiro rinokukundisa. Usakanda mapfumo pasi! Usabvuma kukurirwa. Imba dziyo dzekukunda. Hareruya!
